Lessons learned: Protected areas and development in the Lao People's Democratic Republic


A series of 12 thematic and 4 national lessons papers draws on experience in linking protected areas and key economic development sectors. As part of this series, this lessons paper relates a series of lessons - in terms of achievements and challenges - of protected areas, their management and their role in national and community development in Lao PDR.
